He served successively as the assistant to Chief Accountant and Division Director of General Administration Office of Accounting Department in China Securities Regulatory Commission(CSRC) from May 1997 to March 2001. He then worked as the Chief Accountant of China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation(CSDC) from March 2001 to September 2006, before returning to CSRC as the Deputy General Director of Accounting Department from September 2006 to December 2013. He served successively as General Manager and Chairman of the Board in China Securities Information Technology Services Limited Company from December 2013 to October 2019. He then served as the Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee and General Manager in CSDC from October 2019 to November 2020. He is now the Secretary of CPC Committee and Chairman of the Board of CSDC.
